Hi, I'm Jen and I am thrilled to be joining the coaching team at JLDC. I have been dancing for the past 25 years and have competed nationally and regionally in Freestyle, Ballroom, Latin American and Rock and Roll, with my highlight becoming the IDTA Latin American dancer of the year for the South West of England in 2002. It was at university in 2005 that I discovered the world of cheerleading, and I have been hooked ever since! I have also trained at Pineapple Dance Studios in London, where I developed my hip hop and pom dance skills, and I am a BGU qualified dance coach, plus a BGU Levels 1&2 cheer coach. Over the past year, I have also begun working for Legacy Cheer and Dance, where I work at cheer competitions behind the scenes. I'm looking forward to the coming season and cannot wait to work with the awesome athletes of JLDC.
I have also been lucky enough to be selected as one of the assistant coaches for Team England ParaCheer's Hip Hop squad, which will be competing at the Cheerleading Worlds in 2018. I hope to bring knowledge gained from this experience to JLDC in order to develop the athletes even further.
